Becoming a member of the Bilal Islamic Institute Former Students’ Association (BIIFSA) means reconnecting with your roots and playing a vital role in shaping the future of our community. Membership offers a chance to contribute, benefit, and grow spiritually, socially, and professionally.

🔹 Types of Membership

1. Ordinary Membership

Open to all former students of Bilal Islamic Institute.

Requirements:

• Pay a registration fee of UGX 50,000 (one-time)

• Pay an annual subscription fee of UGX 100,000

• Fill a registration form with personal details

• Uphold good character and integrity

• Accept BIIFSA’s vision, values, and principles

2. Honorary Membership

Open to any Muslim willing to contribute to BIIFSA’s objectives.

Requirements:

• Must be recommended by two ordinary members

• Fill in the honorary membership form

• Approval by the Executive Committee

🔹 Member Obligations

All members are expected to:

• Pay registration and annual subscription fees

• Support the implementation of BIIFSA’s programs

• Participate in activities and events

• Share knowledge and experience with fellow members

• Abide by the association’s rules, policies, and ethics

🔹 Termination of Membership

Membership may be terminated or suspended in the following cases:

• Personal voluntary resignation (written request)

• Violation of Islamic teachings or association rules

• Non-payment of annual dues for 3 consecutive years

• Breach of membership standards, subject to disciplinary action and approval by the AGM
